EHS Construction Program Manager

About the role

Google is looking for an experienced EHS Construction Program Manager to lead the environmental health and safety electrical safety program for its data center construction projects in France. You will develop, implement and continuously improve a global EHS electrical safety framework, ensuring compliance with Google Cloud expectations and local regulations while fostering a culture of safety excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and roll out the Global EHS electrical safety program for data center construction.
• Monitor compliance with NFPA 70E and other relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to track operational metrics and report on safety performance.
• Review construction plans, drawings and specifications to identify safety risks.
• Lead stakeholder communication, providing clear updates in English and Finnish.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk and enhance safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, EHS, Architecture, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction EHS, with a focus on electrical safety.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Finnish.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
• Experience with data‑center structural, electrical, mechanical and controls equipment.
• Operational metrics reporting.
• EHS certification (preferred).
