EHS Campus Lead

About the role

The EHS Campus Lead will oversee environmental, health and safety activities across a large, multi‑site construction campus in Paris. This full‑time, on‑site position requires hands‑on leadership of a multidisciplinary EHS team, ensuring compliance, incident management and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a constant on‑site presence and provide direct support to all campus operations.
• Lead a team of EHS Leads and Advisors, coordinating with the client on queries, best‑practice promotion, incident close‑out and NCR handling.
• Review and vet all incident reports, NCRs, SIPs and action plans before issuance.
• Act as timekeeper for critical reporting, including incidents, KPI dashboards, audits and sustainability metrics.
• Engage early with new stakeholders, staff, transfers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project set‑up.
• Organise weekly meetings and audits with third‑party stakeholders to verify compliance with site and local EHS requirements.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to assess supply‑chain partners within defined timeframes.
• Develop strong campus networks to foster a positive EHS culture.
• Set audit targets, monitor adherence and evaluate audit quality on a monthly basis.
• Implement and monitor the SOR programme throughout the campus lifecycle.
• Conduct regular spot‑checks of open EHS issues and drive risk‑reduction strategies.
• Analyse campus data weekly to identify key risks, issue alerts and communicate safety bulletins.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to eliminate recurring risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading EHS functions on large, multi‑site construction projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with clients, subcontractors and procurement teams.
• Ability to oversee incident reporting, audit processes and compliance monitoring.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple reporting streams and weekly coordination activities.
• Fluent English communication skills; French language proficiency is advantageous.
