Earth Observation Ground Segment Maintenance Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a Ground Segment Maintenance Engineer to support its Earth Observation (EO) Export customers. Based in Toulouse, you will work on integration, verification, validation and in‑service support activities for satellite ground systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and work‑around support to EO export customers.
• Perform on‑site maintenance visits, deployments and other activities at customer premises worldwide.
• Participate in acceptance testing phases, including integration, validation and regression testing.
• Prepare and deliver software versions or patches according to schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Maintain the documentation repository and the team knowledge base.
• Proactively propose improvements to processes and tools.

Required profile

• Master’s or engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Up to 3 years of experience in software development or validation.
• Functional knowledge of control, mission or image ground segments is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Linux operating systems.
• Version control using Git.
• Scripting experience (Python preferred).
• Understanding of network concepts.
