Director of Talent & People

About the role

The Director of Talent & People will shape and scale the people function for a fast‑growing, technology‑driven organization based in France. Reporting to executive leadership, you will own talent strategy, people operations, and employee experience, building the systems that enable high‑performance teams to thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall Talent & People strategy to support continued growth.
• Lead company‑wide talent acquisition, workforce planning, and recruiting operations, improving hiring quality, speed, and predictability.
• Manage and develop the recruiting team, creating scalable processes for multiple functions and regions.
• Support executive and leadership hiring initiatives, enhancing interview processes and candidate experience.
• Build and maintain people‑operations systems covering onboarding, offboarding, documentation, policies, and employee support.
• Partner with leadership on organizational design, team structures, and operational improvements.
• Develop performance management, feedback, career development, and retention programs.
• Provide people metrics and insights to identify talent‑related risks and act as a strategic partner to executives.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, HR, or related leadership roles.
• Experience supporting organizations of 100+ employees, preferably high‑growth startups, agencies, or technology companies.
• Proven track record leading recruiting teams and managing end‑to‑end hiring operations.
• Strong understanding of people operations in remote‑first or globally distributed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to build recruiting systems, onboarding frameworks, and performance processes.
