Director of Sourcing

About the role

The Director of Sourcing will lead a global sourcing function from France, shaping strategies that drive supplier excellence, cost efficiency, and supply continuity. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as a key partner across manufacturing, quality, marketing and operations to enable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that reduce costs and secure long‑term supply.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiation and contract execution.
• Implement performance management frameworks, including scorecards, business reviews and corrective actions.
• Coordinate supplier audits with Quality and resolve findings promptly.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Marketing and Operations to support product launches and production readiness.
• Build, coach and develop a high‑performing sourcing team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain leadership within complex international environments.
• Proven track record in supplier management, contract negotiation and strategic sourcing development.
• Strong people‑leadership skills, including coaching and performance management.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
