Director of Retail Client Development

About the role

Dior is looking for a strategic and results‑driven Director of Retail Client Development to shape and execute a comprehensive clienteling strategy across its boutique network. The role focuses on elevating the client journey, deepening relationships with high‑value customers, and driving sales through targeted engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a holistic clienteling strategy tailored to each boutique and market.
• Develop and grow top‑tier clients in partnership with Private Client Relations, acting as the primary ambassador for high‑value clientele.
• Recruit new clients, cultivate relationships within local social circles, and nurture mid‑tier clients toward top‑tier status.
• Ensure a differentiated client journey and selling ceremony that exceeds Dior’s standards.
• Increase client loyalty across all departments in collaboration with department managers and sales associates.
• Manage client development strategy, providing “extra‑mile” service to retain VIP clients.
• Plan and execute strategic client events, retail campaigns, and local activations with clear ROI.
• Oversee CRM and client database health, improve segmentation, and provide actionable insights to boutique teams.
• Monitor results, profitability, and KPI reporting for client actions and events.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of luxury retail and client relationship management.
• Proven ability to drive sales through enhanced client engagement.
• Leadership experience with a track record of fostering a culture of strategic client development.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
