Director of Finance Operations

About the role

L-Acoustics, a global leader in professional sound systems for live events, is looking for a Director of Finance Operations in Massy. The role builds and runs the Group's Centralized Finance Operations Hub (FinOps), starting with the French perimeter and expanding to European and other international entities. It owns end-to-end transactional finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, Master Data) and works closely with Finance Transformation on systems and tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Build the structure and develop the team based in Massy
• Design and implement standardized P2P, O2C, R2R and Master Data processes for the French entity
• Define and embed the operational KPI and SLA framework, and set up first-line-of-defense controls with Internal Control & Audit
• Stabilize month-end close performance and accounting integrity for France, and build the operating model template for future entities
• Lead the integration of European and international entities into FinOps, adapting processes to local statutory requirements while keeping Group standards
• Run the end-to-end execution of transactional finance processes, maintain reconciliations and close discipline, and drive continuous improvement
• Act as the main interface with FP&A, Controlling, Treasury and Internal Control & Audit, and partner with Finance Transformation on systems adoption and automation opportunities

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance Operations / Accounting leadership, with a proven track record of building or scaling a shared service center or finance hub
• Demonstrated experience leading a team through build and integration phases
• Strong expertise in P2P, O2C and R2R with solid accounting fundamentals
• Experience integrating new entities or geographies into a centralized model; multi-jurisdiction exposure, with French statutory experience essential
• Fluent French and English

Required skills

• ERP fluency (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
• Comfortable as a demanding internal customer of an outsourced transformation function
