Director of Channel Sales – Southern Europe

About the role

Proofpoint is looking for a proactive and visionary Channel Sales Director to shape and execute the partner strategy across Southern Europe. Based in Paris or Milan, you will lead the regional channel ecosystem, driving revenue growth through distributors, resellers and system integrators.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive regional channel sales strategy.
• Recruit, enable and grow a network of distributors, resellers and system integrators.
• Lead and mentor a team of Channel Account Managers in Southern Europe.
• Conduct regular sales training sessions with partner teams to communicate Proofpoint’s value proposition.
• Collaborate with Channel Marketing to launch joint campaigns and ensure ROI.
• Provide accurate weekly forecasts and activity reports to the EMEA Channel VP.
• Define partner plans, drive incremental revenue and meet NARR and deal‑registration targets.
• Execute Quarterly Business Reviews and support pipeline development, qualification and closure.

Required profile

• Senior sales leader with a proven track record in channel management.
• Creative, tenacious and able to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European language proficiency is a plus.
