Director, Business Finance

About the role

As Director, Business Finance you will lead finance operations for the French and Spanish entities of Evac Group and act as the trusted Finance Business Partner to the President of the Yacht business. You will be at the heart of commercial decision‑making, providing insight that drives growth, profitability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the President and leadership team to support performance and growth, leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Provide insight and challenge around revenue, margins, EBITDA and working capital; evaluate business cases for commercial, operational and investment decisions.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings for France and Spain, ensuring statutory, tax and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee treasury, cash‑flow management and payment processes; manage external audits and statutory reporting.
• Maintain strong internal controls, balance‑sheet integrity and drive continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting and systems.
• Lead and develop a cross‑border finance team, supporting ERP and reporting transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or equivalent finance professional.
• Strong experience in French statutory accounting, taxation and financial reporting.
• Background in FP&A, business controlling or finance business partnering.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing or project‑based environments is preferred.
• Fluent in French and English.
