Digital & Business Architect – ERP Transformation

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Digital & Business Architect to lead ERP transformation initiatives within its Digital & ERP Transformation department in Toulouse, France. You will help define the end‑to‑end digital architecture that connects engineering data to shop‑floor operations, creating a seamless digital thread from 3D models to aircraft assembly.

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure the Business Architecture approach within the overall transformation program.
• Establish an Architecture Authority covering organizational, process, competency, and digital dimensions.
• Define the transformation sequence, integrating projects and prerequisites for operational deployment.
• Draft architecture decision documents and advise executive management and business teams on strategic and technological choices.
• Design the target functional architecture and evaluate new technologies to optimise the industrial ecosystem.

Required profile

• Academic background in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of ERP, PLM and CRM solutions applied to aerospace manufacturing and complex data structures.
• Proficiency in enterprise and business architecture practices such as TOGAF, ArchiMate and BPMN/SIPOC process modelling.
