DevOps Engineer – Continuous Integration

About the role

Harmattan AI is building autonomous defense systems and needs a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its continuous integration infrastructure. You will work across software, validation, GNC, and perception teams to ensure reliable, fast delivery of code for advanced drone platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines that compile, test and deploy software across multiple repositories.
• Create dashboards, alerts and notification mechanisms to give teams real‑time visibility into build and test status.
• Gather workflow requirements from diverse engineering groups and translate them into practical tooling solutions.
• Integrate AI agents and cloud services into the CI pipeline to enhance automation.
• Monitor development workflow health, identify bottlenecks and drive quality improvements.
• Document tooling, standards and best practices for consistent use across the organization.

Required profile

• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Background in robotics or embedded systems, understanding of constraints typical for defense software.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions, including YAML workflow authoring.
• Strong scripting abilities in Bash and Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker containers and Linux environments.
• Solid knowledge of build systems such as CMake.
• Familiarity with multi‑repo workspaces and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of AI integration within CI pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
