DevOps Engineer – Automation & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

ALTEN is looking for a DevOps Engineer to strengthen its engineering and IT consulting services. You will focus on automating development pipelines, improving deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and performance of cloud‑based applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated tools for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
• Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python) to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
• Collaborate with developers, system engineers, project managers and DBAs to streamline release cycles.
• Monitor incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in capacity planning, change management, and continuous performance improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar automation‑focused role.
• Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Passion for emerging technologies and a proactive problem‑solving attitude.
