About the role

AptiSkills is looking for an entry‑level piping draftsperson to join its Energy business line. The role involves creating detailed 3‑D piping designs for large‑scale projects and supporting the preparation of material orders and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop 3‑D piping installation layouts, isometric and prefabrication drawings.
• Produce cartographic, as‑built and re‑survey plans.
• Prepare process schematics (UDF, PFD, PID) and installation schematics.
• Coordinate material studies and order tracking.
• Plan delivery schedules while respecting internal and external constraints.
• Create 3‑D models and associated documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Bac+2/3) in mechanical engineering, piping, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in piping design, preferably in gas or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and civil engineering basics.
• Attention to detail, organization, autonomy and ability to work in project teams.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with at least one of the following CAD/CAE tools: SmartPlant, Plant 3D, MicroStation, or E3D.
• Understanding of process diagrams such as UDF, PFD, PID (advantageous).
