Datacenter IT Technician – 8‑Month Contract (France)

About the role

We are looking for a Datacenter IT Technician to join a leading AI infrastructure company on an 8‑month contract in France. You will work on‑site in a high‑performance data centre, ensuring that the IT hardware and network infrastructure run smoothly to support AI and cloud workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve server hardware issues, performing repairs and component replacements.
• Install, upgrade, and terminate hardware according to operational requirements.
• Maintain and test fiber‑optic cables and patch‑cord connectivity.
• Perform routine IT tasks to keep the datacenter infrastructure operational.
• Create and update documentation for hardware configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing server hardware in a datacenter or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of data‑center operations, server and network equipment principles.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑grade network switches and fiber‑optic cabling.
• Basic proficiency with Linux and command‑line tools.
• Familiarity with AI tools or cloud infrastructure is a plus.
