Data Protection Internship – GDPR & Privacy

About the role

Join Betclic's Data Protection Office as an intern and support the implementation of data protection regulations across the Group. Working under the Data Protection Officer, you will gain hands‑on experience in GDPR compliance, privacy documentation, and emerging digital regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in handling data subject rights requests in collaboration with Customer Service.
• Help review and draft GDPR‑related agreements, contractual clauses, and privacy policies together with the Legal Department.
• Maintain and update the Group's Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Participate in privacy compliance reviews for internal projects and business initiatives.
• Support the preparation of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) where required.
• Contribute to privacy awareness campaigns, training materials, and internal communications.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research on data protection, digital regulation, and emerging legislation such as the EU AI Act.
• Prepare guidance, presentations, and compliance documentation for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s student in Law (preferably IT law, data protection, or business law), Business School, or General Management.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and broader digital regulations, including emerging AI‑related rules.
• Curiosity, dedication, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑growing environment.
