Data Center Technician – Essonne, France

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to support company‑specific servers and assist with data‑center build‑outs at customer sites. The role combines hands‑on hardware troubleshooting, physical network installation, and clear communication with both internal teams and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures, performing root‑cause analysis and controlled testing.
• Maintain and deploy field equipment, images, and software for global installations.
• Provide real‑time assistance to field technicians and track server fleet health to identify trends.
• Set up, label, and manage Layer‑1 to Layer‑3 network cabling, including cable tracing and port‑map updates.
• Assist network administrators with switch configuration and verify connections visually and virtually.
• Create and update documentation such as SOPs, knowledge‑base articles, and training guides.
• Conduct pre‑work meetings, deliver status updates, and lead assigned initiatives to completion.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
