Cycling Tour Leader

About the role

Intrepid Travel is looking for enthusiastic Cycling Tour Leaders to guide small groups through France and the Benelux region. You will create memorable, culturally‑rich experiences while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of travellers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily cycling tours according to the itinerary, managing logistics, timing and group dynamics.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including market tours, craft workshops and home‑cooked meals with local families.
• Handle emergencies calmly, such as lost passports, medical issues or interpersonal conflicts.
• Complete administrative duties, including paperwork, reporting and post‑tour feedback.
• Uphold Intrepid’s core values of Integrity, Passion, Fun, Innovation and Responsibility.

Required profile

• Extensive personal cycling experience and a strong passion for bike travel.
• Fluent communication skills in English and French.
• Proven customer‑service background with the ability to connect with diverse travellers.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods, often up to four weeks.
• Full legal right to work in the relevant regions.

Required skills

• Bicycle mechanical knowledge.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
