Cyber Threat Analyst

About the role

Hornetsecurity is seeking a Cyber Threat Analyst to join its Threat Intelligence Lab in France. You will work on daily threat‑hunting activities, analysing malicious email campaigns and contributing to the company’s cyber‑threat intelligence capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse data from multiple threat‑intelligence sources to detect cyber threats and collect TTPs and IoCs.
• Investigate malware, phishing campaigns and advanced persistent threats targeting clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share findings and support incident‑response efforts.
• Document new spam behaviours, techniques and produce clear reports.
• Participate in a follow‑the‑sun schedule with teams in Japan and Canada, with compensatory rest days.

Required profile

• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity concepts such as the CIA triad, vulnerability management and APTs.
• Understanding of network protocols and packet analysis.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
