Customer Trainer

About the role

The Customer Trainer will join Intuitive’s training team to deliver da Vinci® Surgical System education to surgeons, first assistants, and operating‑room staff across multiple specialties. Reporting to the regional Senior or Training Manager, the role combines hands‑on system instruction, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of training programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct da Vinci® Surgical System training programs for surgical teams at designated training centers and remote locations.
• Lead specialized training sessions and support society events, assisting surgeon educators and course participants.
• Gather feedback through surveys, analyze data, and measure program effectiveness.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for internal projects, new product development, and training‑material creation.
• Collaborate with the training team to enhance existing curricula and develop new protocols.
• Train the sales force on in‑service and system‑technology skill development.
• Provide occasional on‑site support of the da Vinci® System in hospital operating rooms, including troubleshooting and maintenance.

Required profile

• Experience delivering technical training for surgical teams or medical devices.
• Ability to work closely with surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff.
• Strong analytical skills for survey design and program evaluation.
• Willingness to travel to training centers and hospitals as needed.
