Customer Success Team Lead

About the role

Semji is looking for a Customer Success Team Lead to drive adoption and value realization for more than 500 clients using its AI‑powered SEO platform. You will lead a high‑performing team of Customer Success Managers, turning users into power users and ensuring strong gross retention.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of 8 CSMs, conducting weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and skill development.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and ramp‑up of new CSMs.
• Drive adoption of core features, especially GEO and AI Agent tools, through onboarding, proactive monitoring and scalable education resources.
• Maintain and improve CSM playbooks, QBR processes and risk‑mitigation plans.
• Monitor usage metrics (DAU, WAU) to identify churn risks and inform data‑driven decisions.
• Act as the voice of the customer, feeding feedback to Product and Engineering.
• Participate in high‑stakes client meetings, provide executive sponsorship and collaborate with Account Management for seamless handoffs.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a Customer Success or similar client‑facing team in a SaaS environment.
• Strong consultative mindset, able to shift from support to strategic advisory for SEO directors and C‑level stakeholders.
• Data‑driven approach with ability to interpret product usage metrics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across product, engineering and sales.
