Customer and Supplier Quality Manager

About the role

Greif, a global leader in performance packaging, is looking for a Customer and Supplier Quality Manager for its Grand Quevilly Metal Drum Division. The role manages quality issues with customers and suppliers, runs audits and keeps quality records, and has the authority to ensure packaging compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage non-conformities and the related internal and external communications with customers and suppliers.
• Conduct internal and external audits, including audits of customers, suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain quality records, including internal audits, the claims database and external inspections.
• Prepare for and take part in audits of the Grand Quevilly Metal Drum Division, including customer, certification and approval audits.
• Manage quality system documentation related to customers and suppliers and update the quality risk analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, quality and environmental protection requirements.
• Act as liaison between customer requests and the Group Regulatory Affairs Department, and take part in sales meetings.

Required profile

• Two-year post-secondary qualification.
• At least five years of experience in a quality department within the industrial sector.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and analytical thinking.
• Good verbal and written communication, persuasion, teaching and coaching skills, diplomacy and active listening.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality management concepts, tools and methods.
• Knowledge of root-cause analysis and problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of packaging regulations, standards and best practices, including transport of dangerous goods, silicone prevention and internal cleanliness.
• Proficiency in ISO 9001 and internal auditing skills.

What we offer

• Salary range of 36,700 to 62,500 EUR per year, typically around 45,000 to 50,000 EUR for new hires, with possible short-term incentives.
