Country Manager – France

About the role

The Country Manager will act as the legal representative for the company in France, driving profitability and growth by implementing the Group’s vision and regional guidelines at the local level. This senior position oversees all business functions, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and efficient use of resources.

Key responsibilities

• Identify market opportunities and analyse trends, customer needs and competitor activity to guarantee market growth and profitability.
• Align the country’s go‑to‑market strategy with business‑unit goals, focusing on market share and revenue targets.
• Manage the full P&L for the French operation, including profit generation and cost control.
• Develop and own the annual country budget covering profit, volume, capital investments and operating expenses.
• Lead local departments, ensuring deployment of Group processes and optimal utilization of economic, technical and human resources.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial leadership experience in industrial automation, gearmotors, drive systems or related sectors.
• Strong P&L management and budgeting expertise.
• Ability to act as the company’s legal representative in France.
• Experience managing cross‑functional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
• Fluent in English and French with excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
