Contractual Lecturer-Researcher AI and Robotics

About the role

The University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC) seeks a contractual lecturer‑researcher to strengthen its AI and Robotics teaching and to contribute to cutting‑edge research within the CAP Twinning project. The position combines 64 hours per year of university teaching with active involvement in a European collaborative research programme.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 64 hours of teaching annually in data science, AI, computer vision and robotics perception.
• Develop new modules or update existing ones for the Master's curriculum and the European Master in Sustainable Systems Engineering.
• Participate in the CAP Twinning project, focusing on embedded AI, trustworthy autonomous driving and interactive augmented autonomy.
• Collaborate with partner universities (Genoa, Barcelona, Tirana) and industry partners within the Heudiasyc laboratory.
• Contribute to the undergraduate computer engineering programme (FISE) and the alternating training programme (FISA).

Required profile

• Strong academic background in artificial intelligence, robotics or related fields.
• Experience teaching university‑level courses in AI, computer vision or robotics perception.
• Ability to design and implement new teaching modules.
• Motivation to engage in interdisciplinary research on trustworthy autonomous systems.
