Communication Officer – Higher Education

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Communication Officer to support the GUS France Group’s schools – SCBS Business School, the School of Tourism and the School of Design. The role will help shape and deliver internal and external communication strategies across France and internationally, enhancing the visibility of our higher‑education programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement internal and external communication strategies, including media and non‑media plans.
• Develop and manage digital presence: website content, social media channels, SEO (organic) and SEA (paid) campaigns.
• Write, edit and produce web and offline content, as well as digital and multimedia assets.
• Lead website redesign and development projects, coordinating with external agencies.
• Create photo and video material, handling shooting and post‑production editing.
• Support marketing and recruitment events such as direct campaigns, trade shows, forums and open days.
• Monitor emerging digital trends and technologies, providing technical support to internal teams.
• Produce regular activity reports and performance tracking.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac +4/5) in Communication Strategy or Marketing.
• Significant experience in a similar communication role.
• Excellent command of French with strong writing and editorial skills; intermediate English.
• Proactive, creative, able to work autonomously and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with CMS platforms and social‑media tools.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads expertise.
• Strong knowledge of SEO and SEA techniques.
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom.
• Video production and editing.
• Project management and coordination of external suppliers.
