Commercial Head – France

About the role

The Commercial Head – France will lead bimeda’s commercial organisation in the French veterinary market. Reporting directly to senior management, the role defines the country’s commercial strategy, drives revenue and margin growth, and ensures regulatory compliance as the legally designated Responsible Person.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a team of Key Account and Territory Managers covering veterinary groups, distributors, wholesalers, vet practices and GIEs.
• Build capability in key‑account management and value‑based selling, set clear objectives and foster a high‑performance culture.
• Own the local commercial strategy, identify high‑value opportunities, and align with European and global priorities.
• Define and continuously review the route‑to‑market, capture fast‑moving opportunities, and monitor competitive dynamics.
• Oversee relationships with GIEs, veterinary corporate groups, wholesalers and integrators, guiding complex price, volume and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary medicines regulations and act as the company’s Responsible Person.

Required profile

• Proven commercial leadership experience in the animal health or veterinary sector.
• Strong strategic thinking with deep understanding of French market dynamics, regulations and channel evolution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and deliver results.
