Commercial Contract Specialist (AI Training Project)

About the role

Gramian Consultancy is seeking an experienced commercial legal professional to support an AI training initiative. The project involves creating realistic business agreements that will be used to train AI models, requiring high‑quality contract documents that reflect current commercial practices.

Key responsibilities

• Draft practical templates and examples of commercial agreements, including Master Services Agreements, lease contracts, IP licences, marketing and licensing agreements.
• Create and adapt legal documents to realistic business scenarios and transaction structures.
• Annotate agreements to explain clauses, risks, or drafting choices.
• Review submissions for consistency, clarity, structure, and legal accuracy.
• Ensure all materials are free from confidential, proprietary, or non‑public information.

Required profile

• Qualified or recently qualified commercial attorney or lawyer.
• Professional experience drafting or negotiating commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated experience with Master Services Agreements.
• Experience with at least two of the following: lease agreements, IP licensing, marketing agreements, or commercial licensing.

Required skills

• Drafting and adapting commercial contracts.
• Legal document annotation and commentary.
• Strong command of contractual language, structure, and terminology.
• Knowledge of current commercial contracting standards and common risk provisions.

What we offer

• Hourly compensation of $80‑$100 per hour.
• Remote, part‑time engagement on a contractor basis.
• Payment per eligible submission accepted against project requirements.
