CNC Workshop Technician – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Workshop Technician to join a leading aerospace manufacturing organization in Spain. The role focuses on producing high‑precision aerospace components using advanced CNC equipment in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining centers, lathes and manual machine tools to manufacture precision parts.
• Set up and prepare equipment for production runs, selecting appropriate cutting tools and machining conditions.
• Program and modify machining parameters directly on the machine using ISO code.
• Inspect and measure finished components against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required profile

• Vocational qualification in Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial machining experience.
• Strong background operating CNC lathes, machining centers and multi‑axis machines.
• Ability to work rotating shifts when required.

Required skills

• CNC machining (3‑axis and preferably 5‑axis).
• ISO programming directly at the machine.
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Okuma control systems.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming environments.
• Machining of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium and high‑nickel alloys.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC equipment.
