Clinical Scientist

About the role

The Clinical Scientist will shape clinical roadmaps for MRI applications, translating healthcare trends and market insights into product strategy and innovation. Working closely with R&D, marketing, sales and service teams, you will bridge unmet clinical needs with Philips' technology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive clinical roadmaps for specific application areas, leveraging knowledge of clinical trends, technology possibilities and market segmentation.
• Contribute expert insights to marketing and development strategy meetings, guiding product policies and clinical direction.
• Translate successful projects into clinical and business proof points that demonstrate Philips' leadership.
• Communicate unmet clinical needs of local markets to internal teams to inform product development and marketing.
• Present clinical research findings and innovative outcomes at customer visits, site tours and scientific events.
• Evaluate emerging medical technologies and assess their impact on Philips' innovation pipeline.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics, Engineering or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge of MR technology and experience in research projects involving MRI.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate intellectual property.
