Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Paris

About the role

The organization is seeking a senior leader to define and execute a global cybersecurity strategy that aligns with business growth objectives. Reporting to executive leadership, the CISO will shape the security posture across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a worldwide cybersecurity strategy.
• Establish and maintain an enterprise‑wide information security governance framework, including policies, standards, and controls.
• Lead cyber risk management, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, and reported.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant data‑protection regulations.
• Oversee security operations, incident response, cyber‑crisis management, and business continuity from a security perspective.
• Drive security awareness programs and foster a strong security culture.
• Manage third‑party and supply‑chain security risks.
• Advise senior executives on emerging threats and security matters.
• Support business development, client engagements, audits, and security due‑diligence activities.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a global cybersecurity team while managing budgets and performance indicators.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including leadership roles in complex international environments.
• Strong expertise in governance, risk management, security operations, compliance and data‑privacy regulations (including GDPR).
• Proven track record managing major security incidents and cyber‑crisis situations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills with senior executives.
• Experience in consulting, technology services or professional services is a strong asset.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA are preferred.
• Fluent in English and French.
