Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leader

About the role

Royal Canin France is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to join the French Leadership Team. Reporting to the General Manager, the CFO will drive the financial agenda, safeguard fiscal health, and lead transformational initiatives that support sustainable growth in a volatile market.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑pilot the unit’s financial and value‑creation strategy alongside the General Manager.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet business and financial targets.
• Lead cost‑structure optimisation, margin improvement, and supply‑chain financial analysis.
• Manage financial system implementations, including ERP and Copilot frameworks.
• Guide organisational transformation in collaboration with French work councils.
• Build trusted relationships with senior executives, commercial directors, and regional leaders to influence strategic decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluent in English and French.
• 12+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, drive change, and influence commercial outcomes.
• Strong analytical acumen and communication skills.
