Chief Business Officer – Offshore Compute (Hybrid, Nantes)

About the role

Join Clean Data Centres Venture as the Chief Business Officer to lead the commercial engine for offshore compute, shaping strategy, product, pricing and multi‑million‑dollar off‑take deals.

Key responsibilities

• Write the go‑to‑market strategy and build the global commercial roadmap.
• Negotiate and close multi‑million‑dollar off‑take agreements with AI labs, CSPs and HPC operators.
• Design offers that turn variable offshore wind power into a feature for AI workloads.
• Translate client requirements into onboard architecture specs together with marine engineers.
• Represent the company at top AI, cloud and infrastructure summits worldwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience closing large‑scale AI infrastructure or data‑center capacity deals.
• Deep knowledge of GPU economics (H100, B200, GB200) and AI workload constraints.
• Understanding of MW‑scale power delivery, PUE and direct‑to‑chip liquid cooling.
• Track record of building a business line from zero and thriving in high‑ambiguity environments.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

• Technical translation of SLA, latency and cooling requirements into shipboard architecture.
