Chef de projets mécanique confirmé (H/F)

About the role

We are supporting one of our clients in their growth and are recruiting a senior mechanical project manager (H/F) to join the engineering department in Nantes. The role involves leading mechanical projects from concept to delivery, working closely with commercial, technical, and electrical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedule, and budget for mechanical developments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including commercial, technical, and electrical specialists.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and technical reports.
• Communicate status and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure timely delivery of prototypes, tooling, and final products.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mechanical project manager or similar role.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
• Fluency in French and good command of English.
• Problem‑solving mindset and proactive attitude.
