Buyer – Electrical Standard Parts

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Buyer for Electrical Standard Parts to join its Electrics Procurement team in Toulouse, France. You will manage a portfolio of suppliers that provide standard electrical components for multiple aircraft families, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Sleeves & Conduits product family, defining strategy and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
• Maintain contract integrity, handle commercial claims, negotiate technical changes, and conduct price reviews.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and manage day‑to‑day supplier relationships.
• Evaluate supplier performance, support development, and mitigate risks.
• Lead calls for tenders for new products or contract renewals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or buying, preferably in the aerospace or industrial sector.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
