Business Development Representative (English Speaking)

About the role
We are looking for an English‑speaking Business Development Representative to join Prelude’s sales team. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, introducing our authentication and user‑onboarding platform and helping to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and target companies and decision‑makers across defined verticals and territories.
- Conduct outbound outreach via cold calls, emails and alternative channels to generate new sales opportunities.
- Qualify inbound leads, present Prelude’s value proposition and nurture relationships.
- Close smaller deals independently and hand over larger opportunities to Account Executives.
- Collaborate with fellow BDRs and AEs to refine prospecting processes and improve conversion rates.
Required profile
- Previous experience in business development, sales or a similar outbound role.
- Proactive, self‑directed mindset with a strong drive to start conversations and close deals.
- Comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders, from procurement managers to CTOs and CEOs.
- Team‑player who thrives in a fast‑moving, impact‑focused environment.
Required skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Sales Navigator, Apollo, Phantombuster or Kaspr for prospecting and pipeline management.
- Effective cold‑calling and email outreach techniques.
- Ability to qualify leads and articulate a technical product’s benefits.
