About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive the growth of our marketplace by establishing and nurturing partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands. You will be responsible for guiding partners through onboarding, shaping market positioning, and delivering value for both the business and its customers.
Key responsibilities
- Support the execution of local partnerships in line with company guidelines.
- Implement category selections to maximise business and customer value.
- Guide assigned merchandise partners through the platform onboarding process.
- Communicate plans and guidelines on market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and operations.
- Collect and analyse category performance data, providing feedback and suggestions.
- Assist project implementation through resource coordination and merchant guidance.
- Conduct industry analysis to identify emerging customer needs.
- Adjust tactics based on market trends and strategic directives.
Required profile
- Preferably 5+ years of operational experience, including brand management or platform operations.
- Strong network of local sellers and vendors is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, self‑motivation, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage logistics during high‑demand periods.
