Business Development Manager - Heat Interface & HVAC

About the role

Wavin, an Orbia business, is recruiting a Business Development Manager in Varennes-sur-Allier, France, as part of its growth ambitions in France. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role secures the use of Wavin solutions through a technical, consultative, value-added approach, engaging specifiers, consultants, developers, architects, engineers, local authorities and contractors to influence projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a strong project and specification pipeline from concept to completion
• Promote integrated Wavin solutions through technical and consultative selling
• Work with Product Management, Technical Design, Engineering, Marketing and Sales teams
• Build strategic relationships with municipalities, consultants, developers, contractors, utilities and other key stakeholders
• Turn customer challenges into integrated solutions that deliver technical, commercial and sustainability value
• Influence project and specification activities to increase adoption of Wavin solutions in targeted markets and accounts

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical specification or solution selling, specifically in heat interface and/or HVAC
• Active project sales experience
• Comfortable working in longer sales cycles where influencing specifications, standards and project design is critical
• Understanding of the building envelope and construction project lifecycle
• Degree in Engineering, Building Services, Architecture, Urban Planning or a related discipline is an advantage
