Business Developer – Southern Europe (IoT Connectivity)

About the role

Transatel is seeking a Business Developer to expand its IoT connectivity portfolio across Southern Europe. You will work with strategic accounts in Iberia, Italy and selected Balkan markets, focusing on mobility, transport, industrial and smart‑city verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, open and grow strategic accounts in the target regions.
• Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder deals covering coverage, performance, security and total cost.
• Scale pilot projects into multi‑country roll‑outs and upsell routing, security and analytics services.
• Follow a structured consultative sales cycle: problem framing, technical discovery, pilot, contract, rollout.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of B2B solution sales experience in IoT, telecom, connectivity, SaaS or edge/embedded.
• Proven ability to close consultative deals with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Italian or Spanish (the third language is a plus).
• Strong curiosity for cellular technologies such as eSIM, LTE‑M/NB‑IoT, private LTE/5G.
