Business Developer Junior

About the role

Consultime, a leading IT freelance staffing firm, is expanding its Nantes office and seeks a motivated Business Developer Junior. You will work across the full sales cycle, from prospecting to mission follow‑up, helping large‑account clients find the right independent IT consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new contacts within client organisations (CIOs, business managers, procurement, project directors).
• Conduct targeted prospecting activities to uncover new business opportunities.
• Qualify client needs during discovery calls and build a robust sales pipeline in the CRM.
• Prepare presentations and commercial proposals for prospective clients.
• Search, qualify and present suitable freelance IT consultants using internal databases and sourcing tools.
• Maintain regular follow‑up with consultants and clients to ensure satisfaction and anticipate mission endings.
• Contribute to client and consultant retention by identifying further business opportunities.

Required profile

• Graduate (Bac+5) from a business school or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of successful commercial development experience in ESN, consulting, IT recruitment or B2B services.
• Strong hunter mindset, comfortable with cold calling and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Excellent verbal communication, persuasive and results‑oriented.
• Dynamic, persistent and able to build trusted relationships with prospects.
• Valid driver’s licence, personal vehicle and willingness to work on‑site.
