BI Consultant – Data Modeling & ETL Specialist

About the role

The BI Consultant will design, build, and maintain robust data models and transformation logic that power reliable business intelligence and reporting for our product development and research teams. This permanent position in Casablanca focuses on SQL‑based data transformation, relational modeling, and ETL processes to ensure high data quality and scalable analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and continuously optimise SQL code for data transformation and reporting.
• Refactor existing SQL logic to improve performance, readability and scalability.
• Design, build and maintain relational data models (facts, dimensions, star/snowflake schemas) supporting BI use cases.
• Construct and manage dimensions, measures and calculated fields within relational models.
• Collaborate with BI developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data structures.
• Develop, maintain and enhance ETL processes for ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures or performance issues.
• Validate and test data pipelines to ensure high data quality and integrity.
• Document data models, transformations and definitions for governance and reuse.

• Understanding of BI concepts, KPIs and analytical use cases.
