Backend Software Engineer (Core AI)

About the role

Goodweek is building a next‑generation AI platform that aims to make artificial intelligence practical, secure, and embedded in everyday business workflows. As a Backend Software Engineer you will own core AI services, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and performant for thousands of daily users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services for AI components such as Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, model orchestration, and vector databases.
• Create scalable APIs that integrate large language models and AI workflows.
• Maintain security, observability, and performance across the entire infrastructure.
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and testing using CI/CD best practices.
• Participate in architecture and technology‑stack decisions, documenting and sharing knowledge with the team.
• Continuously improve the AI platform with innovative solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS/React).
• Hands‑on experience or strong familiarity with AI/ML integration (LLMs, RAG, or similar).
• Deep understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and security best practices.
• Experience with databases, authentication mechanisms, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Git workflows, and agile development methodologies.
• Strong technical communication in English and an agile mindset focused on product value.
