Backend Engineer (Go) – Build Scalable Distributed Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong Go expertise to help build and scale our distributed authentication platform. You will work closely with product and client teams to deliver high‑performance, reliable services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and scale distributed systems using Go, DynamoDB, SQS, Redshift and AWS Lambda.
• Develop a fast full‑stack application with modern technologies such as Next.js on Vercel and gRPC.
• Advance the Prelude API to be industry‑leading in usability, performance and functionality.
• Ensure services are scalable, extensible, reliable and performant.
• Deploy and scale fraud‑prevention models for large customers.
• Build internal tools that improve developer efficiency.
• Collaborate daily with clients to support them and create tailored features.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to maintain API stability.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and engineering large‑scale systems.
• Strong Go coding skills; experience with Rust or TypeScript is a plus.
• Bias toward simplicity and an intuition for scalable solutions.
• Product‑led mindset focused on impact and outcomes.
• Fluent professional English for an international team.
