Avionics System Designer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Avionics System Designer to join the Cockpit and Platforms division in Toulouse. You will work on the design and integration of avionics systems for all Airbus aircraft families, ensuring flight safety and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and design cockpit and platform avionics system architectures across all aircraft programmes.
• Draft functional and technical specifications for airborne equipment suppliers.
• Ensure verification, validation, and integration of avionics systems on test benches and simulators.
• Contribute to certification activities and aircraft airworthiness monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones with high quality.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in integrated avionics systems development engineering.
• Technical expertise in cockpit architectures, airborne computers, and avionics communication networks.
• Proficiency in V‑cycle systems engineering processes and aeronautical certification standards.
• Strong skills in integration, verification, and validation (V&V) on test benches.
• Fluent English (negotiation level).
