Avionics Network & Shared Resources Test Leader

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Avionics Test Leader (f/m) to join the Flight & Integration Test Centre in Toulouse, France. You will work on verification and validation of embedded avionics systems, focusing on shared resources (IMA) and on‑board data communication networks (AFDX).

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy the IMA/AFDX testing strategy, design partly automated test procedures and specify required test‑means evolutions.
• Execute test campaigns in integration laboratories, analyse ground/flight test results and manage subcontracted test activities.
• Monitor supplier tests for new developments and provide continuous progress and anomaly status to design offices.
• Correlate log‑file monitoring data with operational parameters to optimise anomaly detection and flight‑test data analysis.
• Define innovative testing methods such as virtual testing and multi‑purpose test platforms for next‑generation avionics architectures.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent in embedded avionics systems and/or IT/network.
• First experience in aeronautics, avionics systems testing or on‑board data communication networks is a key differentiator.
• Open‑minded, curious, problem‑solving oriented with a strong taste for technical disciplines.
• Strong team working, good communication and synthesis skills.
• Advanced level of English and French.
