Avionics Customer Support Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Avionics Customer Support Engineer to join its In‑Service Engineering department in Toulouse. You will support cockpit communication and datalink systems (ATA 23/46), acting as the Voice of the Customer for airlines worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Answer airline technical queries, provide on‑site troubleshooting and support.
• Anticipate recurring in‑service issues and influence aircraft design evolution.
• Coordinate engineering activities with regional support centres and tier‑2 suppliers.
• Lead technical forums, workshops and represent Airbus at customer symposiums and reviews.

Required profile

• Engineering background with at least 5 years of experience in avionics.
• Proven experience in aircraft systems troubleshooting, maintenance and airline operations.
• Fluent English with strong oral and written presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and coordination abilities across multicultural teams.
• Willingness to be on standby duty and travel worldwide.
