Autopilot Testing Engineer – Flight & Integration Tests

About the role

Join Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse as an Autopilot Testing Engineer. You will work within the Flight and Integration Tests centre, contributing to the integration testing and flight‑test analysis of autopilot systems across all Airbus programmes, including research and technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define test strategies, design detailed test procedures, and create measurement plans for virtual, bench and ground tests.
• Execute and monitor test campaigns, use telemetry rooms for real‑time analysis, validate measurements and obtain experimental flight approvals.
• Document anomalies, report results to the Design Office, and drive continuous improvement through digital innovation such as automation and big‑data analytics.

Required profile

• Degree in Aeronautics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in testing or related engineering activities.
• Proactive, result‑oriented, with strong communication, synthesis abilities and team spirit.

Required skills

• Knowledge of flight mechanics.
• Experience with testing systems and data analysis.
• Background in embedded system design or computer science.
• Python programming (plus).
• Data‑science concepts (plus).
• Advanced English and intermediate French.
