Autonomous Vehicle Driver (Bertha Certified)

About the role

Terry Soot Management Group is looking for a Bertha Certified Test Operator to join its autonomous‑vehicle projects. You will be responsible for safely operating autonomous vehicles in real‑world conditions while collecting valuable performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor autonomous vehicles, prioritising safety and system performance.
• Provide real‑time observations and log any anomalies using dedicated software tools.
• Engage with ride‑hailing passengers as part of the autonomous‑vehicle experience.
• Execute route testing across diverse environments, including city streets and highways.
• Ensure compliance with Bertha certification protocols and maintain data‑integrity standards.
• Generate comprehensive test reports and collaborate closely with engineering teams.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends and early mornings.

Required profile

• Bertha Certification for Autonomous Vehicle Testing.
• Valid Class C driver’s licence with a clean record and at least three years of driving experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Comfortable using digital tools for reporting and analysis.
• Strong judgment, focus and communication abilities.
