Associate / Engagement Manager - Organizational Performance

About the role

Oliver Wyman's Organizational Performance team, part of the Performance Transformation practice, helps clients design, activate and sustain high-performing organisations. The team is looking for experienced professionals in organisation design, operating model transformation, efficiency improvement and people-led change. Two levels are offered: Associate and Engagement Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Associates: break complex problems into discrete tasks, direct junior consultants' focus, plan and execute analysis, identify core issues and craft recommendations, and work alongside clients and project teams, managing small teams.
• Engagement Managers: lead projects day to day, guide the team through an efficient problem-solving process from idea to solution, ensure recommendations are correct, practical and coherent, and exercise thought leadership at the strategic level while controlling technical and operational details.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or similar, or with industry experience from a strategy department or in-house consulting focused on organisational performance.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Willingness to travel.

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, able to run sophisticated analyses and present recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in formal and informal settings.
• Initiative, creativity and aptitude for analytical work.

The firm offers hybrid work, with employees expected to be in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week, and anchor days for team meetings. Career breaks for personal or family reasons are available.
