About the role

The Paris Peace Forum is seeking a Press Relations Assistant to support its Director and Manager of Communications. You will help manage media interactions for the Forum’s annual event and ongoing communications initiatives, ensuring effective coverage of policy projects and global governance topics.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor media relations, including drafting press releases and press kits.
• Coordinate media participation for the annual event: identify invitees, track participation, and handle on‑site media requests.
• Support French and international media outreach strategies for policy initiatives and projects.
• Organise press breakfasts and draft op‑eds for French and international outlets.
• Monitor and analyse media coverage of Forum spokespersons across print, TV, and radio.
• Maintain and update the Forum’s media databases.
• Contribute to the communications strategy, prepare meeting minutes, and draft newsletters using MailJet and Canva.
• Manage the main contact inbox and provide occasional general team support.

Required profile

• Master’s‑level education in communications, journalism, or political science with a communications focus.
• Fluent in English and French (C2 level).
• Strong interest in international affairs, public policy, and global governance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using MailJet for newsletter creation.
• Ability to design layouts in Canva.
