Area Sales Manager – EMEA

About the role

The Area Sales Manager EMEA will drive commercial development and growth for a luxury beauty brand across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. You will manage retailers and distributors, open new markets and ensure the brand’s commercial and marketing strategy is executed through selective distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the EMEA sales strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Identify and develop new markets and partner relationships.
• Manage and expand the portfolio of existing distributors and key accounts.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and distribution terms.
• Lead distributors to meet business objectives, set annual market plans, and monitor sell‑in/sell‑out performance.
• Build strong relationships with premium retail partners, oversee product launches and in‑store activations.
• Analyse competition, market trends and growth opportunities, and provide forecasts to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, training, communications) and represent the brand at trade shows and industry events.
• Travel frequently across the EMEA region (30‑50%).

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in international sales, export or area management.
• Background in cosmetics, skincare, fragrance or luxury is strongly preferred.
• Fluent in French and English; additional European languages are a plus.
