About the role
The position is based within the Engineering Directorate and the Weapon Systems Design Division, joining the Airborne Systems Design function. The role focuses on defining the optimal functional and physical architecture of an airborne weapon sub‑system (Air/Sol).
Key responsibilities
- Define the functional architecture of the Air/Sol weapon sub‑system.
- Design the physical architecture to meet performance and integration requirements.
- Collaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to ensure coherence between functional and physical designs.
- Document architecture decisions and maintain traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
Required profile
- Experience in functional and physical system architecture, preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate design trade‑offs.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
